FareUniverse acts as an authorized travel agent using Amadeus GDS and consolidator fares through our partnership with Skybird. We provide:
- Exclusive consolidator airfares not available to the public
- International and domestic flight bookings
- Travel packages including flights, hotels, and tours
- 24/7 customer support for ticketed passengers
- Visa and travel insurance assistance (through partners)
All bookings are subject to airline rules, availability, and the specific fare conditions at the time of booking.
Booking & Payment Terms
Payment Requirements
- All fares must be paid in full before ticket issuance
- Prices are subject to change until the ticket is confirmed and issued
- We accept credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers
- A service fee may apply for certain payment methods
Price Validity
Quoted prices are valid for 24 hours or as specified by our agents. Fare and availability are not guaranteed until full payment is received and tickets are issued.
Cancellations & Refunds
Important Notice:
Most consolidator fares are non-refundable or have strict cancellation penalties. Please review fare rules carefully before booking.
- Cancellations, changes, and refunds are subject to airline and consolidator rules
- Additional service charges and penalties may apply
- Refund processing times vary by airline (typically 4-12 weeks)
- FareUniverse charges a processing fee for cancellations and changes
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances
Liability & Disclaimers
FareUniverse is not responsible for:
- Airline schedule changes, delays, or cancellations
- Force majeure events including weather, strikes, or government actions
- Loss or damage to baggage (covered by airline policies)
- Denied boarding due to overbooking
- Immigration or visa issues
Travelers are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, and travel documents. It is the passenger's responsibility to verify entry requirements for all destinations.
SMS/Privacy Policy
SMS Communication Policy
- • FareUniverse does not send unsolicited promotional SMS messages
- • We only send SMS/text messages in response to customer requests or booking inquiries
- • By providing your phone number, you consent to receiving SMS updates about your booking
- • Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS communication
- • Standard carrier rates may apply
- • We never share or sell your phone number to third parties
Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal information. All data is encrypted and stored securely. We comply with Australian Privacy Principles and GDPR requirements where applicable.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute:
- First contact our customer service team for resolution
- If unresolved, submit a formal complaint in writing
- We will respond within 10 business days
- Further disputes may be referred to Consumer Affairs Victoria
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
Amendments
FareUniverse reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website and will apply to bookings made after the date of posting.
